Fun Day Out @ One City (MCT Tower) Property Gallery — REO Suite, Subang Jaya

Woke up at 9AM to prepare myself to head out to One City, USJ as I was invited to go hear about the latest highrise — REO Suite which is located in Subang Jaya, also known as the "Latest Piece Of Hidden Jewel". Read reviews of REO alrdy, that it is savvy, modern & contemporary. So it got me excited to view the show unit :O Also, I kinda started to love looking at different houses & imagining how mine's going to be like in the future, haha *wishful thinking*

Untitled

Arrived the property gallery feeling super fresh instead of sleepy, which was great news since I'm a late sleeper :p

Spotted a cute pink vintage scooter~

Us guests were served w selections of breakfast before the briefing. Was so yum I had 2 helpings :3

I haven't had these kuihs in a very long time! #nostalgic

They've got 3 types of floor plans, starting from RM296,000. & I'd purchase one in a heartbeat if I got the money (T___T) I really want my own place to stay :( Plus the location is actually close to perfect.

Type A: 370 sq ft.

This type has 2 different units to choose from & the only difference is one has a balcony whereas the other doesn't.
I'd totally go for the one w a balcony :D

Type D: 454 sq ft.

Same as Type A, one is w a balcony & the other does not.

Type E: 609 sq ft.

This unit is large & has 2 bathrooms! One director suite, one executive suite, & a whole lot of space!

If you didn't know, my favorite color is pink~ So this one caught my eye first haha.

The fridge, sink counter, & cupboards. Opposite this area is the kitchen counter & more cupboards.

I am in awe of these suites' designs. It is pretty simple yet very cozy to call a home ♥ Not forgetting we'd get a city view every single day :) Just thinking about the nightlights is so mesmerizing too.

Unique colors that will definitely not make your daily life dull :)

The eating table. If it were me I would so invite a friend over for a cuppa coffee at noon, or wine at night ♥ So chilling!

Full-length mirrors are a major yes! ♥ My future home MUST have one (or more! :p) too! It is all girls' fav ;) I can take a bunch of #ootd if I had these mirrors + great lighting like at REO!

Kitchen counter & cupboards. There is a sink counter, fridge & more cupboards too, just opposite the area like Type A.

Example of a pretty decoration idea.

Couldn't resist to pose w the electric guitar! Haha. Even though later on I found out that I held it wrongly :/ Don't mind me, lol. Btw there's enough space in the suite for you to pick up a hobby~ Simply awesome ♥

Check out their Google office concept! It's so cool compared to the traditional cubicles. If I work in a place like this, I'm sure it'd be flexible & fun!

It just makes you feel lively yet relaxing at the same time, get what I mean?

They also have tons of amazing facilities that you would love like the -

BBQ pits
Sauna
Steam Room
Jacuzzi
Infinity Pool
Poolside Deck
Zen Garden
Garden Library
Dance Studio
Gym
Multipurpose Hall
Meditation Room

& more that you have to check out yourself personally!

I also found this image online to share w you guys. Talk about convenience! At REO, you will be able to connect to KL city & the rest of Subang Jaya :) Moreover, getting around is made easy & traffic-free! Getting to the LRT station is only a short walk away.

So make sure to visit REO Suite for live viewing!

(Silk Road) An Oriental Journey & Art of Blending

Hi there, beloved readers! :) Continuing from this post, I have since then attended a fine dining event last Saturday by exclusive invite, courtesy of Silk Road :)

Take a look at these fine chopsticks in the elegant case. Undeniably a special type of invitation huh?
I was excited & looking forward to find out what's in store for us ;)

Arrived Metal Bees Production House & saw small sections placed around the lobby to allow guests learn more about the Eastern culture. One of them was the anchient art of Chinese rainbow calligraphy in modern setting. To enrich everyone's experience of the oriental, the master surprised guests w drawings of animals, signs & also names in Chinese.

The spectacular pieces were really impressive & interesting, I'd say!

We were then introduced a few types of Eastern tea as the second part of the journey.

Properly blending tea is truly an art form. There are thousands of different kinds of teas, each w their own individual appearance, taste & aroma. Each tea has its own signature taste to suit individual preference. To make sense of all the varieties possible, teas can be placed in several categories.

At 8PM, pretty ladies in cheongsam ushered us into the main hall where we were serenaded by traditional Chinese music for the sensational fine dining experience by Chef James Won & Enfin Culinary Team.

The art of sight & sound had already enlightened the mood for us thus far,
we wondered what would be on the menu next.

A selfie w pretty Mabel after we settled down onto our seating ♥

The gorgeous Julie Woon as Silk Road's host of the night.

Diana Liu; who sang amazing Chinese classic melodies while we savoured our food.

Last but not least, Chef James Won himself, who educated us more on his finely crafted dishes.

The luxuriant setting of Eastern & Western blend.

Entrée One
Scallop, calamari, citrus, mints and petals
A total sensorial experience that refreshes from smell to taste.
Taste Delivery: Aromatic, creamy & smooth

I truly adore this. The scallops were so fresh & tastefully delicious. Not forgetting that Chef James Won also purposely flew in XL Hokkaido Scallops for us to enjoy. Paired this w Johnny Walker Gold Reserve whisky & it was simply satisfying.

Entrée Two
Green tea salmon 40°, smoked cucumber, textures of potato and green beurre Blanc
A fresh & delicate experience that is balanced.
Taste Delivery: Refreshing, fragrant & floral

The salmon was juicy & succulent w caramelized skin & a hint of green tea flavor that is not too empowering. It's safe to say that this one won over my heart as my favorite dish of the night ♥

Plat Principal
Cordyceps chicken on chlorophyll carpet, porcini mushrooms and pâtes de riz
A balanced, crisp offer with a clean aftertaste that lingers on the palate
Taste Delivery: Woody, bittersweet

Super soft chicken that complimented very well w the broth, mushrooms & rice pasta; which was pretty special. I was already quite full by then but here comes dessert, which is totally my weakness, tbh :p

Dessert
Plum, cheese, chocolaté and basil

Know how they say girls have another stomach for dessert? Well that's true :x Everything about this was the superb way to end the cuisine for the night. I've never had chocolate, cheese & plum together before but to my surprise they complimented each other's taste in a luscious way. Chef James Won is indeed unique & creative.

Was a pleasure to get to indulge in tasteful & exquisite flavors while we were sent to an Oriental journey through his cuisine. The Eastern influence had definitely blended in w modern times & slowly changing the world, positively. Silk Road was a wonderful experience to start my 2016, so thanks for the unforgettable night! :)

Boyfie's Birthday Celebration Trip to Krabi (Part 1)

I got a shock of my life while starting this post. Changed phone & couldn't find any of my old pix that I transferred to my laptop. I thought either 1) I didn't actually save them & it was all a dream, 2) I didn't even remember to in the first place. How can I be so careless, I wonder? Was super confused & panicked. Clicked on every folder & PHEW, thank God I do have them. I was searching for "Krabi" but instead it's "iP6" (-_-;) Silly me.

#throwback to August 18th~21st 2015

This is my first time doing a trip & all these fr a guy :O Hope he knows how much I appreciate him ♥♥ Miss the trip so much alrdy, such sweet memories there & was overall an enjoyable holiday ♥

Day 1

Woke up @ 4AM+ & arrived the airport as early as 5AM+ cos our flight was 7AM. Lesson learned, no more booking such early flights lol what was I thinking?! Made everyone suffer due to this lolol. Dui bu qi.

Untitled

See, the sky still so dark..
Also emo-ed cos we didn't get to eat Mcd breakfast & I wanted Starbucks very, very badly.

Untitled

The place we stayed was Krabi Resort.

Some of you actually msged me to ask but I didn't have the time to reply, sorryy! Now I'm gna blog about everything w pix & details fr u guys :D Btw it's nice & affordable. Priced @ around RM1,200 for 4 days 3 nights.

Lovely bathtub! That I didn't get to use at all unfortunately :(((

Untitled

Apple scented shampoo. I liked it! :D

Untitled

The outdoor/balcony. Spot to chill~

Untitled

Lake & other villas surrounding. There are upstairs floors too. It's a very big resort actually. You needa sit their buggy (available 24/7) to get back to your own villa. Tbh tho, the lake scares me a lot at night. Thr are fishes in it & you can hear sounds of what seems like a hundred frogs (T___T) My biggest fear. & we spotted a HUGE fish that kept appearing & disappearing, it's really, really long & fat no joke. Phobia max.

Untitled

Untitled

Swimming pool, jacuzzi & bar. Where I enjoyed cocktails at noon/evening like the Pina Colada. Forgot to take pix of em tho. Regrettt. But I like the drinks so much ♥♥ Plenty variety too.

Untitled

I went to sleep (of course, LOL) while the 3 of them went out fr lunch & rented bikes (o__o)

Untitled

Very convenient to get around town. Fun too, haha! See my noobie babypink helmet. We arrived a hill-top seafood restaurant called Lae Lay Grill fr dinner at that time. It's my 2nd time dining thr. Previously was in year 2013.

My bf is very good at riding bikes :O

Untitled

Jack & Mabel. Babypink helmet as well, while the guys were in black lol.

Untitled

My engraved IPV D2 & Triton.

Untitled

You can never go wrong w Thai fried rice. Yummyy. We ordered seafood instead of chicken.

Untitled

Delicious tomyum :3 I can't eat spicy but tomyum is too hard to resist.

Untitled

Untitled

Untitled

After filling our tummies, we did our usual tradition; 7-11 fr more food, snacks & drinks. Everyone was very tired anyways & wanted to just chill in the villa. Plus, I had a little surprise plan up my sleeve.

Food in convenient stores as simple as their 7-11 is actually nice, the first time I tried in Bangkok I was like wow not bad~ & they'll reheat it up fr you on the spot upon request. Reasonably priced too. My favorite is their spaghetti bolognese (only RM7) & cheese and ham sandwich (forgot price). Yeah ikr I'm such a western food lover, instead of asian :x

Untitled

Häagen-Dazs ice-cream cake, which costed a little over 2000baht = RM220+?

Untitled

Boyfriends deserve to be pampered too ♥♥

The gift I got him from KLCC which he had absolutely NO clue about. Lol. I white-lied him back in Malaysia & brought it all the way to Krabi w me, haha. The paperbag still looks good, I packed it carefully in my luggage ;)

*p/s: Thanks bb Nana fr accompanying me shop fr gifts ♥*

Untitled

Untitled

Untitled

Untitled

Super glad he loves the gift, surprises & trip that I done fr him. Memorable~ ♥

Untitled

Can't thank Mabel & Jack enough fr coming to this trip w us :) & helping me w the sneaky plannings, cake hunt etc. Otherwise this trip won't be as successful/fun :)

Untitled

Revealing the gift nw~

Untitled

Louis Vuitton leather wallet in Damier Ebene.

Untitled

Also hotstamped his initials in gold; AE.

Untitled

Changed into comfy clothes & continued drinking.

Wasn't fr long tho till we went to bed, had to wake up early to catch the breakfast session in the morning at bout 8AM. Our transportation will arrive @ 9AM to bring us to Hong Island. Bought the package in town.

Day 2, 3, 4 posts will be up as soon as I'm not lazy..? :x Seriously how long ago is this throwback post lol, even MY own birthday is coming up. Tsk tsk Raine, terrible blogger (T___T) STAY TUNED THO <3
