Hello dearies & Happy New Year! :D ♥ I am 8 days late tho *hides face*

So, as everyone knows, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies has been released recently & I just needed to watch it as soon as I could. I was ecstatic. & I'm a big geek when it comes to Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings. I can even re-watch those movies at home alone or most of the time I'd ask my bf to accompany me. He enjoys re-watching them wimme too. Aww I'm glad :D

Then I suggested us to try the newly opened TGV Indulge @ 1 Utama. Since it's a 2 & a half hours long movie, it'd be nice if we can be seated comfortably right (: & without too much crowd, all the noise & annoyance from other people, etc. So here goes our first time!

Got our tickets. They come in a card envelope like this.

UPDATED as of 19/1/17:
Ticket prices have raised to RM55 each & if you want the buffet spread, add on RM70 (weekdays) / RM79 (weekends) per person.
It was RM50 per ticket (RM100 fr 2 people, duh, why am I even stating the obvious haha *rolls eyes at self*), not including the meal bcos we didn't want, we had Japanese food fr dinner. And yes, thr's a meal of yr choice if you pay an additional RM15 per person.

About the menu selection fr this, I'm nt so sure cos I didn't ask :/

The Lounge
Escape and indulge in relaxing banter amidst the sophisticated ambience serenaded by melodic jazzy tunes as you await your movie.

Going in~

How it looks like right outside/next to the hall.

How it looks like inside.

Judging from this angle, you might alrdy sorta guess that we're sitting in the front row :( (ours is the Twinseat tho, the ones without the armrest separation)

Which was a real bummer. We purchased tickets at 6PM fr a 10PM show but still only left front row seats. Probably cos their showtime was only two in total that day. One at 3PM & the other was ours, 10PM. Why so?

Blur us shud've booked online (tip fr you guys lol don't say I didn't warn ya)

Adjustable sofas. Lean back & relax~

Blankie. It's really comfyy & fluffy! Love.

Untitled

Silly b, why you buy me the largest size popcorn? (>__<;) Impossible fr me to finish.

Food & Drinks
Indulge your taste buds in elegant western fusion delicacies, regardless before, during or after your movie.

Untitled

Spot the buttons thingy on the right, attached to the table? You can press that to order food & drinks to enjoy during yr movie :D This is the hot chocolate.

Untitled

Mixed Dim Sum Platter. Lol! First time ever eating dimsum in a cinema :O This tasted pretty decent, acceptable. Would be better if they have sweet sauce tho.

Being vain as usual, lol.

Overall I enjoyed the whole experience & yeah, it was worth the try :D Would definitely go back thr again bcos I like being comfortable like who doesn't? Lol. & not so many people. Had a lovely time w Baby ♥ Oh, & Hobbit was awesome as usual. I wished the movie was longer. So sad that it has come to an end :( Tauriel has always been my favorite female character. Still adore Legolas too!

    1. Hey :D I checked the official website in case thr are any prices changes. You know, due to every single thing raising nowadays T___T & indeed it has! Per ticket is RM55 now instead of RM50.

The add on RM15 is fr a meal of yr choice (selected items only & I've no idea if this price changed too, enquiry only @ the counter) whereas add on RM70 (weekdays) / RM79 (weekends) is fr the buffet. Thr's a menu to dine at the lounge/inside the cinema too if you don't want the buffet or meal of choice. Hope this helps!
